Senior Vice President & Special Assets Manager
Greg is a Senior Vice President and Special Assets Manager with Kanaly Trust. He is responsible for managing all unique assets held in Kanaly accounts. Those assets include items such as oil and gas interests, family business interests, and real estate holdings. In this role, Greg and his team are responsible for transaction coordination, oversight of property tax payments, insurance, and reviewing and reconciling income and expenses associated with unique assets. Greg also participates in arranging for and reviewing business valuations and the review of direct limited partnership transactions.
Greg joined Kanaly in 1990 and brings over twenty-five years of experience in trusts, oil, gas, real estate and unique investments. His areas of industry expertise are petroleum land management and knowledge of fiduciary obligations, with a focus on Texas and Louisiana.
Prior to joining Kanaly, Greg was self-employed as a Petroleum Landman concentrated in East Texas. His prior position as a Landman was with Allen and Allen, which he initially joined in 1985 and then again in 1987, concentrating in South Louisiana, East Texas and Alabama leasing and title curative activities.
Greg is past chair of the Conroe YMCA.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Petroleum Land Management.
