Troy Saldivar is a Portfolio Manager with Kanaly Trust. He is responsible for implementing customized multi-asset class investment strategies for clients. As a member of Kanaly’s Investment Committee, he works with the Chief Investment Officer on developing model portfolio asset allocations and is actively involved in the ongoing due diligence process of all investment managers. Troy has been in the financial services industry since 1994 and believes in adhering to a disciplined investment strategy that effectively manages risk and produces strong long-term returns. Prior to joining Kanaly Trust, Troy served as Vice President of Client Relations at the institutional asset management firm of Davis Hamilton Jackson & Associates of Houston. During his career, he also worked as a Regional Account Executive with AIM Private Asset Management, the private client division of AIM Investments (now Invesco). Here he was responsible for collaborating with Portfolio Managers to support wholesalers, investment consultants and regional contacts. He focused on portfolio activity, the competitive landscape and sales strategies for the portfolios available through the wirehouse, bank and independent channels. Earlier in Troy’s career, he was with EquiVantage, Inc. of Houston as a Regional Manager. A native of Houston, Troy received a B.S. from the University of Houston. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Troy is a Level III Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Houston.
