Meet Us Sharon Pearson

For over 25 years Sharon has had oversight and administration of business and corporate operations in financial services organizations. She joined Kanaly Trust in 1996 and has been a long-standing member of the company’s management team, playing a key role in its strategic direction and decision-making process. Sharon has been an integral part of the organization, providing leadership through many different market environments and business cycles. Her oversight of the development of Kanaly’s fine staff of professionals is an important priority for her, as well as for the company. Kanaly Trust’s corporate culture dictates that maintaining a highly competent group of associates ensures the company will remain client-centered, providing the continuity in service it is well known for. 

In Sharon’s current position as Chief Operating Officer she oversees all day-to-day operations. Her top priority is the overall development, design and improvement of client service at the company. Kanaly Trust believes that its people and their expertise are its most valuable resource and serving clients is top priority.  

Since joining Kanaly, Sharon earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through her long association with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is a member of HR Houston, attended the Center for Creative Leadership Human Resource Management Program, is a member of the Houston Compensation Association and is active in the Greater Houston Partnership.

Sharon is a member of the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Houston and South Texas. She was a Student Mentor in the Bauer College of Business Program for Excellence in Selling 2008, has served as Principal of the Day for the Houston Independent School District, volunteers her time at Texas Children’s Hospital and supports the Alzheimer’s and American Lung Associations.
