About Kanaly

Meet Us Gary Williams

It’s a gift to be able to do what you love and apply it toward benefiting a greater cause.  Running is my passion and I enjoy using it to raise awareness on the importance of colorectal cancer screening by participating in and serving on the planning committee for the “Sprint for Colorectal Oncology Prevention and Education Fun Run & Walk” in association with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to raise awareness of the disease and the proper screening methods for early detection.

When I’m not running, I’m reading. Another organization that is important to me is the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County (LCFBC).  As an organization, we strive to end intergenerational cycles of illiteracy by improving adult literacy skills and generating community-wide literacy awareness.  As a tutor for the past three years, my students have taught me the true meaning of “dedication” through their patience and persistence in obtaining their GEDs.

It is important to me to help others succeed and to know that I’m making a difference in their lives.  I am so fortunate that I am able to carry these virtues into my role as Vice President and Trust Officer with Kanaly Trust.

I joined Kanaly in 1998 and I am proud to be a part of a company that has been built on leadership, family and genuine trust.  We’re always evolving with the financial industry and looking out for the best interests of our clients.

At Kanaly, we are dedicated to creating a positive client experience.  My team members, Laura Rowley and Gloria Westhoff, and I are dedicated to you.  We go beyond just getting to know you – we get to know your family.  We work to ensure that we are always accessible to you and are familiar with your needs. As a team, we each play important roles in providing recommendations and ideas in your best interests.  We share a genuine willingness to go beyond your expectations and foster a level of comfort that allows you to seek us out to address all of your concerns.

When Deane Kanaly shared his reasons with me for starting the company, his philosophy and his desire to involve his family, in my mind, he truly set this company apart from any other company.  Deane had a vision for how you should be treated and he made sure those associated with his company understood that.  I respect that vision and strive to achieve it every day when I interact with you.

Let me share that vision with you.  Let’s talk!
