Kanaly Expands Advisory Staff, Targets New Mexico

Industry Veteran Robert Shelton to Lead Firm’s New Mexico Effort

Houston, TX – January 18, 2010 – In an effort to better serve their growing client footprint, today Kanaly Trust announces the addition of Robert Shelton, CFA, to the firm’s advisory staff. Shelton, who has nearly two decades of experience in the investment and business management industry, will be leading the company’s business growth strategy in pursuing new business development opportunities.

Prior to joining Kanaly, he was a senior investment officer with JPMorgan Private Bank where he provided strategic investment advice to high net worth families, foundations and charitable trusts. In addition, Shelton spent nearly 10 years at AIM Investments as a senior portfolio manager and equity analyst. During his time at AIM, he co-managed two funds: a large-cap US equity fund and a financial services sector fund.
